Bristol Street Pastors - Social Media Coordinator

Bristol Street Pastors has over 20 trained Street & Prayer Pastors with others in training. Each Saturday night, a team is out on the streets of Bristol between the hours of 10pm and 3.30am. Their mission is to listen, care and help for the thousands of party goers enjoying the vibrant night life. Bristol Street Pastors is made up of Christians from different churches around the City. 

Bristol Street Pastors are seeking a voluntary social media coordinator. You will be responsible for ensuring that they have a strong social media presence across all channels. The aim is to raise awareness of the work that Bristol Street Pastors do in Bristol, help with recruiting new street and prayer pastors and to fundraise for their work. 

The experience you will need includes:

• Enthusiasm and aptitude for all things social / digital

• Familiarity with web design and publishing

• Some experience in managing organic social media methodologies 

• Proficiency with Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, 

• Confident communicator, able to work collaboratively with other volunteers and the management committee
