Climate Change
LOSS AND DAMAGE: BACK THE FUND. Call on the UK Prime Minister to back the creation of an international fund.
Communities in East Africa face the worst drought in 40 years and in Pakistan the monsoons have destroyed half a million homes and damaged 4 million acres of crops. This is the climate crisis - right now!
We're supporting communities on the frontline who are demanding that the polluters who caused this crisis pay into an international loss and damage fund. The fund could help people recover and rebuild when disasters strike, and compensate them for all that is permanently lost. The only problem is, no such fund exists – yet! Our message to the PM: back the fund
